Who We Are
Vendorberg is a Bengaluru-headquartered MRO supplier and sourcing agent serving industrial clients across the Oil & Gas, Mining, and Manufacturing sectors globally. For any privacy-related query you can reach us at sales@vendorberg.com.
Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you give us when you submit an enquiry, request a quotation, register as a vendor, or correspond with our team — typically your name, company, role, business email, phone number, country, and any project or sourcing details you share.
- Information collected automatically when you browse www.vendorberg.com — IP address, device type, browser, referring page, time on site, and pages viewed — gathered through the cookies and analytics tags described in our Cookie Notice.
- Information from third parties such as business directories, trade references, or KYC databases when we onboard a new supplier or client.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information to respond to your enquiries, prepare and send commercial quotations, manage purchase orders and shipments, perform supplier and customer due diligence, comply with tax and customs obligations, and improve the way our website performs. We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for unrelated advertising.
Lawful Basis
Where Indian law — including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — and other applicable frameworks require a lawful basis, we rely on one or more of: your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, or our legitimate business interest in operating an international trading and sourcing business.
Sharing and Disclosure
We share information only with parties who need it to deliver the service you have asked for — for example logistics carriers, customs brokers, banks, insurers, our manufacturing principals, and statutory authorities. Each is expected to handle the information confidentially. We may also disclose information where the law, a regulator, or a court order requires.
International Transfers
Because Vendorberg sources from and ships to multiple jurisdictions, your information may be transferred outside India — for instance to a manufacturer confirming a part, or a freight forwarder arranging shipment. We take reasonable steps to make sure that transferred information continues to be protected.
Data Retention
We retain transactional records (quotations, purchase orders, shipping documents, certificates of conformance) for as long as the commercial relationship is active and for a further period as required by Indian tax, customs, and corporate law. Marketing-only contact records are reviewed periodically and removed when no longer relevant.
Your Rights
Subject to applicable Indian law, you can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is inaccurate, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent where consent was the basis, or request deletion when retention is no longer required. Security
We protect information through access controls, secure email infrastructure, encrypted communication for sensitive correspondence, and regular review of who can see what. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.
Children’s Data
Our website and services are intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The version date at the top of the page tells you when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for a reasonable period after publication.
